The title, beautiful in my opinion, which inspired this image, is "to the bright edge of the world".
I imagined a woman on the top of a mountain, who seems to be able to touch, mirror and merge with an enormous moon.
She has her back to me, hair in the wind, starry sky and snowy peaks at her feet.

Homage to the Transavanguardia.
Born as a reaction to the artistic experimentation pushed to excess by conceptual painting, Transavanguardia advocates a return to manual skills and the joy of painting.
A return to the brush, the canvas and colours, to their place in the art of painting, also through the free rediscovery of the local and popular roots of the artist who interprets them.

Inspired by the illusory perspectives of the optical art of the 60s and 70s, this composition plays with the viewer through abstract shapes that appear in perpetual motion. Resin becomes a living, fluid material, colours brush against each other and then meet in an unexpected way, constantly embracing new forms.

Bucephalus is the name of the famous horse given to Alexander the Great at a very young age. As of then, Alexander always rode the mighty and majestic Bucephalus, who became an emblem of strength and protection. The transposition we have created in the wallpaper is the result of a brushstroke by Roberto Palomba that evokes the decorations of Greek terracotta and black pottery in which the figures were stylised, becoming essential and powerful, bestowing upon the horse all its innate strength and power and placing it as the sole figure at the centre of the scene.

DEEP NATURE
Nature enters surfaces and construction materials, creating authentic settings that mark out calm and balanced rhythms of life.
On the one hand a nature filtered through a lens that makes it abstract and rarefied, and on the other, a more ancestral nature, with a reference to the cave-hut, featuring darker tones intertwined with the earth.

The basic structure of this work derives from a small pencil and pastel work depicting a series of organic shapes that interpenetrate and interact. In a second step the shapes are re-imagined through the technique of wood inlay. This last step reopens the dialogue between organic forms and live materials, like wood, generating a disorienting optical effect. A classic technique like marquetry is thus used to present a contemporary vision.

A déjà-vu.
A work table on which the floral macro-theme is broken down - and at the same time reassembled - in a contemporary revamp.
Each sheet is the piece which, according to a more imperfect order, restores the texture of the flower already present in the graphic New Pollution, to search for a new stratified dimension.

What emerges is sobriety, the lexicon of the art of ancient decorative stucco traditions.
Balanced lines that beauty proposes without ostentation.
Simple white material that appears grateful for what it is.

View from the seventh floor.
The texture of the sky - material and cerulean - is permeated, erased, ruined by silhouettes of palms in the colours of old-fashioned majolica tiles that contrast and overlap at the same time, in a layering of different materials and textures.

A jungle in Hawaii is what inspired me.
A dense jungle, full of colours, especially greens, many - of sounds, smells and calls. Turning around quickly and seeing it upside down and imagining it in other colours, from caramel to grey, completely different to the context - hence the inspiration for Jungle Cut.

Architecture and nature; rigorous forms that engage in dialogue with the lightness and precariousness of leaves and shadows. The limited depth of niches is compared with the imagined and infinite depth of nature that lies beyond the architecture; stability and transience seek balance in a representation that seems to grant more visual space to static and heavy things, but leads the eye towards the single light and airy glimmer, amplifying its presence and importance through the use of light.

For the Milanese, Lake Como has always represented an escape from the city. Somewhere to reconnect with nature, rediscover its rhythms, be fascinated by its colours and surrender to its sounds. The lockdown of 2020, spent in a house on the lakeshore, inspired me to break down the lake's landscapes into a series of geometrically shaped paintings, now reworked into a colourful and playful wallpaper, inspired by Larian rationalism, whose materiality is given by the natural patterns of leaves.

The kaleidoscope of colours, the rhythm that gives space to infinity, enlarged and reduced shapes.
